2008-03-03  Whistler

 

 

 Two weeks ago I flied over to Whistler, Canada to participate in the only WC races that will take of in the Olypmpic slope before Olympics in Vancover 2010.

I been there once before but then it was end of May and looked totally different from now. There are two mountains; Whistler and Whistler Blackcomb with enormous areas of both offpist and pist skiing. The race slope is a nice hill, not so steep and not so flat, with rolers and natural turns. That means that the DH was technical witch is better for me because I´m a better turner than glider!
